These are great for stocking stuffers, Secret Santa or for the “baking connoisseur” in the family!
Not quite a spoon, not quite a spatula - this perfect tool will help you stir those thick batters, dough recipes and anything else you want to mix, and you can avoid scratching your precious cookware!
We designed ours using maple or cherry and finished with 2 coats of food grade mineral oil (we recommend  treating your spurtle with any type of food grade oil - like butcher block oil or food grade mineral oil, available at hardware stores or online - daily for the first week, then weekly and finally, once a month - leave oil on for a couple of hours and then wipe off the excess). These must be washed by hand (sorry to all the dishwashers out there) and left out to dry in order to avoid damage from drying out and cracking. If you take care of your spurtle, it will last!
