Our Story
From The Woods of Georgian Bay
Knotwal Wood Creations began as the "brainchild" of husband & wife team, Chris & Frances Lawton.
It started from a few pencil sketches on the garage workbench, just trying to decide on handmade Christmas gifts for family members, and has blossomed into a rewarding business.
We strive to use reclaimed wood (whenever possible - and available) and support local mills by purchasing locally.
We work with our patrons during the design phase of their item while keeping them updated on a consistent basis as we work through each piece. We also research the latest decor/educational toys/games, etc., to make them our own.
We hope the items you find in our shop will intrigue you and help you find that "perfect" gift for someone or even yourself.
